Dental Assistant Cover Letter Example 2
I am extremely interested in securing a position with your office. My resume is enclosed for your review and consideration.
I am a Dental Assistant who has completed the Dental Assistant Program at Westside Career School. This was a 900-hour rigorous program that included theoretical knowledge of the subject. As a full-time student, I achieved a 4.0 cumulative grade point average. Included in my studies were infection control, medical emergencies, office procedures, and the hands-on clinical aspect in addition to learning the textbook strategies. I am Radiology/DANB certified; I have been working as a Dental Assistant for over two years and am in the process of completing my CDA. I recently have assisted my current employer this spring on two separate occasions in her esthetic's course. In return was a great educational experience. My dedication, communications, and newly adapted skills provide me with a thorough foundation in principles that affect dental facilities everyday.
My experience in the medical field as a Licensed Nursing Assistant has provided me with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. I exhibit intelligence, common sense, initiative, maturity, stability, and am eager to make a positive contribution to your dental practice. I posses the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, am adamant about maintaining infection control, and can multi-task effectively while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
I feel confident that an interview with you would confirm that I would be an excellent dental team member. I would like to schedule an interview at your earliest convenience.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Dental Assistant Cover Letter Example 3
I have roughly 13 years of dental assisting experience (between schooling and employment) in periodontal surgery, oral surgery, oral conscious sedation, endodontics, implant surgery, and cosmetic/general dentistry; and would like to find a place of employment that would be a great company for me to remain at permanently which it seems your company would be a perfect fit for.
My experience in the last 12 years while working as an employed dental assistant has gone far beyond what I was taught in school. Although I do not hold any additional accreditations beyond my MATC technical diploma (listed in detail on my resume), I have worked in a number of environments where I have acquired skills far beyond my formal schooling. My plans as of now are to continue my schooling so I can hold the certifications for the dental specialties that I have worked in.
Throughout the positions I’ve possessed throughout my career, I’ve always shown to be a flexible and ready-to-learn employee that is productive in more ways than one. What I do know how to do, I do well. If I don’t know how to do it, teach me and I’ll learn it fast. I realize that the more I can be taught makes me a more efficient and valuable employee, I desire this just as much as my employer does. I am a team player and really am searching for a group that I can fall in with and work well with together.
In final I understand the role I play in my profession and what is needed and expected from me. I believe I am a solid asset to any team and have a strong work ethic that loves to work in the dental field. I am very passionate about my work and the field I am in. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing back from you.
