Successfully managed a state of the art payroll production operation. Operation averaged 1.2 million payroll checks sent to over 10,000 locations worldwide per month.
Oversaw an increase of annual W2 production from 1.4 million annually to 2 million annually.
Supervised and developed a teamwork approach to a staff of 25 associates, by cross training each member into all functions of the department. There by allowing for maximum flexibility of the department as well as providing increased challenges for each associate.
Successfully oversaw a major upgraded to the print site hardware to the latest state of the art technology equipment. Requiring the successful installation of additional equipment, re-designing and re-ordering of inventory, and the re-training of team members.
Reduced the error rate at the site from an average of 14 errors per month to 1 error per month by making adjustments to existing procedures, identified from root causes. There by increasing to a 99.98% accuracy of payrolls shipped.
Actively participated in a committee to develop and implement an on line repository of production procedures for staff training and reference.
ADP 2000 to 2004
While supervising a staff of 30 electronic technicians and support personnel in a SMT environment, I successfully eliminated a repair backlog of 4000 circuit board repairs while maintaining pace with new activity by implementing new repair flow and part ordering procedures. This allowed for a 24 hour customer turn time on 3000 repairs per month.
By implementing better tracking procedures, I successfully improved inventory accuracy by 15% and maintained a 99.9% absolute dollar value accuracy on over 4 million dollars worth of inventory. Allowing for a reduction of spending by 7% on repair activities.
Successfully assisted and implemented repair support for new clients that brought in an additional 3 million dollars annually into the company.
Improved QC, training, and testing procedures to reduce the “DOA” (return rate) to 1.4% on repairs.
