I am currently serving as a part-time administrative church secretary to head of staff. I direct and support the flow of communication and information assisting those who enter the church office, some needing confidentiality which is very important in this position. Routing and screening calls. Keeping all church members informed about present and upcoming events. I maintain a web site calendar of church activities and update both calendars monthly. I also maintain our website's data base. Coordinate all facilities equipment maintenance and repairs. Prepare weekly worship bulletins and bulletins for special services. Maintain and track expense reports. Act as liaison when the pastor is out of the church office. Working with the Mission Committee and workers on many different programs that Hope Presbyterian Church is offering to assist people in need, keep bulletin boards updated. Prepare weekly mass mailings of bulletins and other church related documents to members whom are homebound. Prepare correspondences as directed by head of staff. Maintain current files on visitors, prospective new members, membership information, etc.; keep current information on members for both church and pictorial directories.
